What's the next best thing to raking leaves?
Sweeping them! Since we have no yard, we resorted this weekend to sweeping leaves into a big pile in the road behind our condo. The boys loved it. We haven't really experienced fall over the past 4 years (for me and 6 years for Luke), so it has been awesome to watch the leaves change color and fall from the trees. When we were living in FL, Luke's mom would send him a box of leaves every fall because she knew how much he missed it... it's nice that she doesn't have to do it now as we are experiencing this very beautiful season for ourselves!
